I have been happy to serve as a volunteer for the Spectrum Lunch Program the past few years. It is wonderful to see our seniors get out and socialize with each other. It also gives them a chance to have a nutritious affordable meal prepared by a registered dietitian. Spectrum adds little touches to decorate the tables for various holidays. They even delivered Valentine cards to all the seniors made by children from the community. All these things and more show Spectrum Community Services to be a caring organization. They go out of their way to make our seniors feel like they have not been forgotten. They deserve a pat on the back for all their hard work.

Our church has been working with Spectrum Community Service's lunch program for quite a number of years. It provides nutritious, tasty, and affordable lunches for our older adults. An important side benefit is the social interaction and connection over a goodmeal.

In addition, our church participates in a weekly exercise program facilitated by Spectrum's fitness instructor, specifically for older adults at no charge. I attend this program at other sites so I can maintain my overall physical fitness.

Spectrum provides other programs to support the older adults in our community. We are very fortunate to have such an excellent rorganization available to us.

Thank you, Spectrum.
