The SPCA of Brevard exemplifies excellence in animal care and community service. Their professional staff, well-maintained facilities, healthy animals, and community-focused initiatives make them a true asset to the region. I wholeheartedly recommend supporting and visiting this wonderful organization.
The facilities at the SPCA of Brevard are impeccably maintained, reflecting the high standards of care and organization that are core to their mission. Every area, from the kennels to the common spaces, are spotless and well-organized, which speaks volumes about the commitment to providing a safe and clean environment for the animals.
Speaking of the animals, it was heartening to see how healthy and well-cared-for they all were. All pets are not only in great physical condition but also exhibited behaviors that indicated they were receiving ample attention and love. The staff’s dedication to the physical and mental well-being of these animals is truly commendable.
Moreover, the SPCA of Brevard stands out for its community-minded approach. They actively engage with the local community, offering various programs and events that promote responsible pet ownership and animal welfare. Their outreach efforts are a testament to their commitment to making a positive impact beyond their immediate facility.
I had the pleasure of attending a fundraising event for the SPCA of Brevard, and I was deeply impressed by their dedication and passion for animal welfare. The organization's commitment to rescuing, rehabilitating, and finding loving homes for animals is truly remarkable. Their staff and volunteers go above and beyond to ensure that every animal receives the care and attention they deserve. The event itself was well-organized, engaging, and filled with heartwarming stories of animals whose lives were transformed by the SPCA. It's clear that the SPCA of Brevard is making a significant impact in our community, and I'm proud to support their mission.
SPCA of Brevard does phenomenal work in our community! I'm proud to be a part of this great organization that works hard and gives back to the deserving animals of Brevard County.
The SPCA of Brevard goes way beyond to help as many as they can. They rush to help empty shelters in line of a hurricane or go after hurricanes to take as many as they can. They also do all they can to help people keep their pets. They also donated scanners to every fire department in their county. They help other rescues and also help their county shelters. They do free shot clinics, free microchips and provide free food to animals in need. They do wonderful work and help so many people and animals.
My vision- impaired roommate was given permission to adopt a pet, and she chose to adopt a cat. We went to the Brevard County SPCA to see the kitties available. Everyone was so helpful and we were successful in adopting our beloved Summerdae!! Can’t express how happy we are with the whole process.. and she’s thriving.
I’ve only been volunteering at the SPCA Brevard for a month, but I’ve already noticed a big difference between this shelter and others. The staff at SPCA Brevard genuinely love and care for the animals. Everyone is deeply invested, and it’s clear they’re not just there for a paycheck. They’re familiar with each animal and understand their individual needs.
I’ve especially fallen for the senior kitties, and I’m so grateful for the love they show them, and the cleanliness of the facility! ♥️
I have donated to this organization for over 30 years and have adopted four cats and three dogs from them in the last 17 years. I have enjoyed seeing the positive growth and improved conditions for the animals in the shelter which is a model operation. The animals at the shelter enjoy the best life possible while waiting for their forever homes and it warms my heart knowing that there is a safe refuge in Titusville for animals in need.....
Amazing nonprofit with professionals that truly care about their animals during every stage of care.
I adopted my fur baby Triton from the SPCA of Brevard a year ago. My loving boy has filled my days with so much joy and I know I would not have him if it weren't for this organization and its foster families! The staff there really prioritize setting their animals up with forever homes! Nothing but good things to say about this amazing, dedicated team in Titusville. The adoption rates speak for themselves!
I have been fostering for SPCA of North Brevard for several years now, they have been a complete joy to help out. Most recently I adopted a dog named ember from the SPCA, this was only my second dog adoption after my first foster was a fail, needless to say everything was great from being able to have a chat with the foster parent to every body at the SPCA. I will continue to foster for them and even adopt again. Adopt don't shop!!!
I really do love how they are honest about their animals. They take you outside to play with dogs one on one. We got a dog named Finn (now Kylo) from them. They were honest that he was a little bit crazy… He’s come along way, but he still a little bit crazy and we love him for it. Other shelters may not have been honest about his energy level. We appreciate them telling us the truth about what we were getting ourselves into.
Being associated with the SPCA of Brevard is one of the must meaningful things I’ve done in life. I have been a volunteer for 2 1/2 years and served as the Volunteer Coordinator for a time. The dedicated and loving care for the animals that volunteers and staff provide is phenomenal, and very inspirational! Plus my family adopted our adorable dachshund, Ollie, from the SPCA a year ago!
I have adopted two cats from the SPCA Adoption Center. Both are the loves of my life, but my little Sulli has my heart! She lost both of her eyes. (She and her litter mates were used for bb practice!!) The SPCA medical team and cat kennel staff took amazing care of her. She is so full life! She follows me all over the house, she meows to find me, then sleeps on me as soon as she finds me on the couch.
Thank you SPCA for saving Sulli's life! Thank you for rescuing Gil from a Siamese hoarder. I adore both of my "fluffy puppies"! (Both cats are more dog-like than cat!)
SPCA of Brevard has been an amazing asset to the community. From food pantry supplies, free vaccine clinics, grants that allow free spay/neuters, they have it all!
This is a true no kill shelter. They do it by having a lot of foster homes when their kennels are full. The cats are in rooms, only those who don’t get along with other cats are in cages. Dogs have play dates every day. Dogs also enjoy walks every day by workers and volunteers. They help other shelters who need to find place for animals before a hurricane hits. Very worthwhile organization. The only funds they get are thru their thrift stores and donations.
