For such a small organization located in rural VA, SNAPS does a great job in helping low-income families alter their pets to prevent future litters. Unwanted pets (litters) are abandoned on back roads, dumpsters, behind country stores or abused. SNAPS helps volunteers feed and rescue many of these animals. People who find injured pets are helped with their critical care fund to help pay for medical expenses.
