Spay Alter Vaccinate Every Stray Inc

I have been a volunteer for this non profit since 2018 was told in the beginning that I would only be providing my time and nothing else. Since the day I became a volunteer I have had to purchase food for feral/stray cats, provide sheltering materials, and pay for veterinary care out of my own pocket. We now have extremely sick animals in the wild that we “the volunteers” can not provide medical care too because we can only provide for the extremely sick cats and 1 at a time. We have exhausted our savings and bank accounts to provide what we can to these animals that is non profit vowed to care for in order to receive donations and grants. We see the 990 filed with the IRS that states medical, food, and other expenses being claimed but NOTHING is being provided for these precious souls even though it’s being claimed! We have reached out to every government agency and now 2 years in and still nothing done to hold this non profit accountable. We have asked for a sit down with the “board members” (that’s another issue in itself) and have not received an acknowledgment of or request or a response. Please be careful on who you entrust your hard earned money to because in my investigation of this non profit I have found several others in my community who either don’t report the amount they receive from donors or they only report a fraction of the donation as being received or even hide their donations under a non existent non profit. I would give this non profit less than 1* if I could! We need government agencies to not only do their job but have a stricter guidelines like every dollar is to be reported instead of donations totally over $50,000.00 in a calendar year collectively!
