I am lucky to live in a city that has SPARK as a resource. My children's school has a SPARK park, which we love. It has raised beds for vegetable gardening, a shaded running track, exercise equipment, a small pond surrounded by butterfly host plants, and a giant triceratops fossil replica as a climbing structure, among other things. The school--and the neighborhood--has a lot of healthy, happy kids who have a great place to play outdoors, thanks to SPARK.
