Mission: The mission for spare for change is to grow the game of golf, one recycled club at a time. The clubs are available to kids or adults at no charge with an option of me teaching them how to use them. Now, some of the kids are doing well enough to play tournaments, so i will also pay for their entries into certain events. I have given out over 2000 clubs to the 400+ people i have helped through my non-profit here in hawaii. Someday, i want to take this international! So far, so good.
Programs: The purpose of spare for change is to grow the game of golf, one recycled club at a time. I recycle golf clubs and give them, in a recycled state, to kids or adults. Those that do well in the program, i help them play tournaments by paying for their entries. So far i have given or rebuilt 2000 clubs to over 400 students here in hawaii. I have been doing this for a long time but now that it became a 501 c 3 in march, i plan to do a lot more.
