I got introduced to Sow Good Now through our daughter who now works with Mary and the organization. Over the course of the last year, my wife and I have attended several of their sports events in support of youth in our area. I have to say that the work that Sow Good Now is doing to support youth sports teams while encouraging team building and helping players understand their own gifts and talents is exemplary. The way they bring student athletes together with youth from underserved areas is inspiring and helping these athletes become the community leaders of tomorrow. Like a lot of non-profits, Sow Good Now could do even more events and have an even greater impact with donations from those of us who care about developing future leaders, especially those from underserved communities.
Sow Good Now is such a wonderful organization. Their ability to connect and grow student athletes while helping underprivileged children is truly amazing! I have been proud to be a part of the volunteer organization that has made a difference is so many lives!
I can’t say enough good things about this organization! Their mission to connect young athletes with underserved youth by sharing their passion for sports is inspiring. They’re not just running programs—they’re creating positive change in the communities they serve. It’s amazing to see how they’re teaching the next generation of athletes to be generous, compassionate, and committed to giving back with their time, talents, and resources. If you’re looking for a way to make an impact, I highly recommend making a donation, volunteering with the group, or joining one of their events; you’ll be supporting a cause that’s making a real difference.
SGN is a fantastic organization that helps bridge underserved youth experiences through sport. Coinciding with providing an experience that fosters relationships, imagination, and knowledge, the platform SGN provides young student athletes to learn about philanthropy and what it means to give back, as well as the importance of not having to wait until later in life to give back is incredibly impactful!
This is a wonderful organization that teaches young athletes how to be philanthropic and give back to underserved youth through their time and talents ! Showing and sharing through example is awesome ! Please consider making a monetary donation and by volunteering at a Giveback !
As someone who is new to this nonprofit, I have been blown away by the incredible work they do to help children from under-served communities build confidence and resilience through sports. Their mission to connect these kids with high school and college athletes is truly inspiring, and the results they have achieved are nothing short of remarkable. Through its programs, the nonprofit has been able to create a safe and supportive environment for kids to learn and grow through sports. The athletes who volunteer their time and expertise are not only skilled role models but also provide a much-needed sense of belonging for these children. Many of the kids who participate in these programs come from challenging backgrounds, and the nonprofit's approach of using sports as a tool for empowerment has proven to be incredibly effective. One of the things I admire most about this nonprofit is its commitment to making a lasting impact. They don't just provide a temporary solution or a quick fix, but rather work to create long-term change in the lives of the kids they serve. By building their confidence and skills through sports, these children are better equipped to succeed in all areas of their lives and are more likely to go on to become leaders in their communities. Overall, I am honored to be a part of this incredible nonprofit and am excited to see the positive impact they will continue to have on the lives of children in underserved communities. If you're looking for a way to give back and make a real difference in the lives of others, I highly recommend getting involved with this organization.
When I first heard about Sow Good Now I knew I wanted to be a part of this amazing organization. Sow Good Now provides the opportunity for our youth to serve others by doing something they LOVE, by playing a sport they are passionate about. The transformation of these student athletes when they realize they can positively impact a child’s life is immediate. Knowing they can make the world a better place by sharing their time and talent gives them a sense of pride and purpose. It’s a joy to see all that is good shine through these inspirational athletes.
Sow Good Now has been one of the most impactful organizations I have worked with. Over the past 3 years, Sow Good Now has helped our soccer program establish an incredible relationship with the Waltham Boys & Girls Club and our campus partner the Heller School. Not only are we able to fundraise and provide financial resources to our community, but Sow Good Now has also taught our student-athletes about acts of service and relationship building to better support our local community. Sow Good Now has taught us what it means to actually give back. This organization has been life changing for our student-athletes, our university and our community. Sow Good Now provides educational resources and opportunities, leadership development, and community relationships that will last a life time.
Sow Good Now is an organization which provides an outlet for young athletes to share their time, treasure and talents among those communities who need it most. It serves as an introduction for our youth into the world of philanthropy. I have witnessed first hand the connections and smiles on both the athletes and those they are helping. Not only is it a well run nonprofit but the people within the organization are very caring and want to make a difference in people's everyday life!
Sow Good Now is an innovative and thought organization that aims to advance youth philanthropy through sports. We (The Sillerman Center) are in a 4-year partnership with Sow Good Now to locally support our university students, young people locally, and our community as a whole. Sow Good Now's team has been instrumental in supporting us to stay accountable to the community, think about giving differently, and ensure young people are the decision makers. I strongly recommend and appreciate Sow Good Now's work and encourage anyone interested in youth development, sports, and/or philanthropy in general to reach out to the Sow Good Now team!
Amazing philanthropy helping so many children in the greater Philadelphia area. My experiences with Sow Good Now over the past several years has in turn helped me better understand the non profit sector and how each one of us can help those in need.
I was engaged by Sow Good Now in 2021 to help them take their mission to the next level of success. What they have achieved over the past year or so is amazing, They have expanded their Board, raised additional dollars to support the mission, and most importantly they are reaching out and making a difference with the youth in our community.
The world needs more nonprofits like Sow Good Now. Their mission is to educate children through sports on the importance of giving back to the community. I have partnered with them for a few years now for events in Rhode Island. Our neighborhood schools love the program they put on. Educating at a young age is important for our future leaders and I am grateful to have connected with this organization to be able to make an impact locally.
Sow Good Now is a wonderful organization that provides opportunities for local athletes to give back to their communities. These opportunities create connections between diverse communities, and teach the athletes what it means to be a philanthropist. I have been honored to witness some of meaningful relationships formed between young people through this organization. The leadership team at Sow Good Now is professional, kind and generous. I look forward to working with Sow Good Now again the future.
I have loved every second of working with Sow Good Now and being a philanthropic athlete. It's bettered my life and made connections I can continue on with for life. I feel like I am able to consistently do good in the world and educate younger people about giving back!
SGN offers engaging community service options for high school and college athletes. I support them because they connect student-athletes and local community youth programs to inspire each other on playing fields and engender a “team” approach to learning and winning. The mentoring of athletic skills and sharing of honest discussions of charitable experiences leads to a powerful empathy among all participants. The encounters and beliefs the players and kids share create a compelling awareness of philanthropy that informs their own future commitment to charity. We need more of that!
This organization is making an impact where it matters: empowering young athletes to give back. For five years, Sow Good Now has made a real impact in local communities by teaching youth about philanthropy and inspiring them to use their athleticism to do so. Kudos to Sow Good Now for inspiring our next generation and giving back to communities. Sports and philanthropy = a winning combination.
This wonderful five year old organization has designed a program to help unlock the capacity for good in youth and growing the next generation of philanthropic athletes. This is done through a program that teaches philanthropy, builds relationships in diverse communities and by inspiring athletes to capitalize on their passion for sports to develop a lifelong practice of giving and sharing. The programs are at both the high school and college level and have proven highly successful in developing philanthropic athletes. It's wonderful to find an organization with such a worthwhile cause.
