Causes: Civil Rights, Right to Life
Mission: The mission of Southwest Coalition for Life is empower YOU to be a part of God's solution to ending the violence of abortion across the Borderland region of West Texas and Southern New Mexico, peacefully and prayerfully, through innovative outreach, strategic action, and pro-active education.
Results: After launching full-time outreach in Las Cruces in 2016, the abortion center shut down only 8 months later in 2017. After expanding outreach to El Paso, "Reproductive Services" abortion center closed in 2018. In 2019, we have expanded full-time outreach outside the Hill Top abortion center and the Planned Parenthood with an office right next door, and will be expanding to offer mobile ultrasound services with a Save the Storks bus in 2020.
Target demographics: Abortion-vulnerable women and couples
Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 100 abortion-vulnerable women and couple choose life.
Geographic areas served: El Paso & Southern New Mexico
Programs: Referrals to free, life-affirming resources through our "Her Care Connection" network and intern referral agents, and hope and mercy through peaceful public prayer including 40 Days for Life.
