I work in the local community as a mental health professional. On multiple occasions, I called on SSRC to assist and aid individuals I worked with and other I recommend to seek out assistance there. As a result these individuals were able to get help they desperately needed. There is not another organization in the immediate area to provide the services they do. The SSRC has built bridges to connect with other community agencies to improve and enhance the services provided in the area. It is an organization, I was so impressed with when the opportunity for me to become a board member presented itself I joined. I am entering my last year of my second term, it has been a pleasurable 7-8 years, to be a part of an organization that means so much to our local community. I physically and financially support this organization and will continue to as long as I have the capability to do so.

Ms. Jones has been such a blessing to our family. Within hours of contacting the center, she called us and talked with both me and my daughter. She has been a rock. She is available and such a bringer of peace to our family. I cannot recommend this center highly enough!

I have worked with staff from the SSRC over the past several years and I have found them to be very capable of providing a much needed service to the area. They are knowledgeable of local community resources and present themselves with professionalism and respect for the individuals they work with. These clients are not always in the best of places when they enter my services or end turn to SSRC as a last resource, it takes a special type of person to do what they do day in and day out. I appreciate what they do and the fact that such a place exist in our community.
