Causes: Community Coalitions
Mission: Southern foundation for homeless children, inc. Operates two homes for children. The first one is paul's home for children (phc), located at 3289 pleasant ridge road, sturgis, ms. Our second home is eastwood children's home (ewch), which is located at 27 east cherry street, columbus, ms. We provide a caring and nurturing environment for children that have been abused, or that (continued on schedule o, statement 1)
Programs: We operated two children's homes that serve a maximum of ten (10) boys each. In 2012, we provided housing, food, and all other necessities for the boys in our care.
southern foundation continued a fund raising endeavor began in 2011. Family day care home is a ms state program for feeding children administered by the ms department of education. We sponsor individuals to feed children and we earn a small administrative fee for doing so. We also receive reimbursement for certain other operational expenses. The expenses associated with this endeavor are listed in part ix, statement of functional expenses, under the various expense categories. I combined three non-labor expenses to line 24e and attached a note of explanation in form o for line 24e. The revenue is listed in part viii, statement of revenues, on line 2f.
