Programs: Technical assistance and training grant program (technitrain) program provides community-specific training and technical assistance to small, low-income communities and non-profit agencies serving a population of less than 10,000 to meet their water and wastewater needs. The range of training and technical assistance is broad and includes activities relating to financing such as applying for loans and grants.
community services block grant_discretionary award with this funding, we are able to impact four key issues facing low-income rural areas in the state: water and wastewater needs, housing, community organization, and community economic development. Sercap also provides training and technical assistance to localities and agencies on community organization, needs assessments, and planning with regard to water and wastewater problems and economic development.
