Causes: Health, Health (General & Financing)
Mission: To recruit students into health professions, support continuing education projects for health professionals, encourage decentralization of educational opportunities for health professionals in the service area, evaluate and address public health needs of southeastern pennsylvania and provide innovative multi-disciplinary responses to those needs, and to recruit and retain health professionals for underserved and/or rural areas of southeastern pennsylvania.
Programs: Training health professions students and primary care practitioners to work with low-income, minority and rural populations, supporting health career programs in schools to help recruit future health care practitioners, and securing funding and other resources to improve community health.
