This man is tireless. He went into Louisiana and Mississippi after the hurricanes devastated those areas and brought back a van full of puppies and mommies and daddies. He drove through all sorts of crazy weather to get to them. There is a special place in heaven for Jack. We adopted the sweetest beagle, Gracie in 2017 and she has become the light of our lives. He never Tyumen’s away from a dog in need, beagle or not. I wish I had 1/4 of the energy Jack has.

Jack is amazing. I fostered my first beagle, Sabrina, through SEBR and I couldn’t be more fulfilled and happy knowing how well taken care of all of the dogs that come to this rescue are. I have never seen someone so truly dedicated to every single beagle he saves. SEBR deserves more recognition and praise than ever! I love this rescue and will forever support it❤️

I have fostered and adopted a beagle from SEBR. It has been a wonderful experience and proud to know them. Little Ann now Lukah has filled my life with love and this rescue is so dedicated to save beagles. They find homes for the beagles and fosters whom take care of them until they find a permanent home. I would highly recommend this rescue if you would like to foster or adopt a beagle. They are a true blessing to these beagles.

We have adopted two beagles from this rescue, each of whom somehow ended up in shelters and most likely would have been euthanized. Southeast Beagle Rescue didn't see them as disposable however. They saved them, got them the minor medical treatment they needed, and placed them in foster homes to heal. From there, we were able to adopt them and make them part of our family. We are grateful for all the good work this rescue does, saving those that deserve another chance to love and be loved!

I adopted the best Beagle from Southeast Beagle Rescue. I just lost an older dog and SEBR was there for me with a puppy to lick my tears away. They had a Beagle Bath Day where I got to meet my baby and all his siblings. Turns out my Buddy is a purebred Beagle even though that didn't matter to me. They do a thorough background check and follow up for 6 months to make sure everything is ok. They are so great to the dogs and people. Love love love!

We rescued a scared, lonely, underfed beagle. Jack and his crew were able to bring Buford to FLA from a man who stopped feeding his dogs because they wouldn’t listen to him. Without Jack I am sure Buford would have died. Instead he was given food, a bath, and vet care and has now become the best part of our family. SEBR is fantastic and we can wait to give another pup a home.

Southeast Beagle Rescue is the best. Without Jack Novoselski and this amazing group of volunteers hundreds of beagles would not have a chance for a happy, healthy life. Thanks to SEBR we would not have met our Ranger. SEBR works so hard to make sure each beagle is healthy and then placed with the right family. They go out of their way to give these dogs their best life. May their work continue.

In February of 2019 I lost my 15 year old Beagle Kaylee. I knew I wanted another Beagle as it has been the only breed I have ever had. I noticed there weren’t many Beagles in shelters as that is where I went first. A colleague told me about SouthEast Beagle Rescue and I contacted them. Within 30 minutes they got back to me, and we set up a weekend ‘sleep over’. Needless to say, that sleep over turned permanent and we have had sweet Rideau for 1.5 years.

SouthEast Beagle Rescue travels anywhere to find Beagles and bring them to Florida in order to find them loving homes. They are generous, down to earth, and care deeply about these beautiful, happy little hounds!

Originally, I was set on getting a puppy but I wasn’t sure what breed was best for me and my home. I did my research, found the breed and fell in love- a beagle. My partner and I at the time wanted to raise one ourselves, but due to circumstances, we found ourself wanting to rescue a beagle that was still young but had all the great amenities.

When I found SouthEast Beagle Rescue I was elated. There were so many to choose from on their site and I found myself gravitated towards one. When I asked about her, they said she was already going to her trial period with her possible furever home. Nonetheless, they had gotten one in hours before. He had just arrived with its foster family, and I could go see him.

I rushed at the opportunity and drove to the home immediately.

When I met the foster family, the had already had ample experience with fostering specifically beagles so they gave me a lot of great knowledge about his breed. They were also extremely caring and compassionate towards him although he was only there for maybe 5 hours. When I put the beagle boy on my lap in the car, he fell asleep. That’s when I accepted it. He was mine.

This rescue has given me something irreplaceable, a soul that helps heal me through my troubles, helps soothe my day-to-day anxiety and is my best friend. He was known as Wells at SEBR, but we know and love him as Ole’ Hank Dog now (Hank for short).

I seriously cannot thank SouthEast Beagle Rescue enough for what they do for these animals. They go out of Florida State lines even to save these babies lives all while being a family. It was fate when I found Hank because it was so quick yet so fulfilling. I can’t thank this organization enough for everything that they do.

Keep up the great work and I am looking forward to adopting another from this special rescue. U・ᴥ・U

My significant other and I had followed Southeast Beagle Rescue for about two years on Facebook. When my significant other suddenly passed this past year, I decided it was the right time to adopt another beagle. I applied and was contacted within a day about my application. It was just my luck they had brought back a litter of puppies on the “Beagle Bus” that had been found by a dumpster. I live in South Florida and Jack drove half way to meet me and several others that were also from South Florida. My new friend had been neutered, treated for heart worms, microchipped, and loved. Everyone I came into contact with at SEBR was, and has been, wonderful. They called several times after I brought him home to check in and make sure everything was going well, and to see if I had any questions. The work they do to save these precious pups is beyond measure! Countless hours spent driving to rescue them, volunteers to help bathe them, and trips to the vet for the best care are second nature to them. Jack and his team are truly special individuals!

I adopted my JoJo from Southeast Beagle Rescue3 1/2 years ago. They were wonderful. I filled out an application and a guy named Mike called and talked to me for about 30 minutes. Then Jack came to my house with JoJo to meet me, see where JoJo would live and to see if I was a good fit for her. Jack was super nice and is passionate about finding homes for Beagles. He told me that once he drove all the way back to Louisiana to retrieve a Beagle that he heard was not being treated well. His passion for these dogs and the hard work that they all do, is amazing. JoJo had her shots and flea and heartworm treatment and was microchipped. I adore her and am so thankful to Southeast Beagle Rescue. I told one of my neighbors about SEBR when they lost their dog and they adopted through them as well. Cannot say enough about what a great rescue organization they are! Thank you Jack and SEBR!!

We met Lila (LucyIV) in July 2017 at an event at Oldsmar Flea Market. It was love at first site. We had filled out an application on line and were contacted by SEBR. They asked us to come to the event to see the beagles up for adoption. Lila was special from the moment we met her. She is the most loving grateful dog. We left our beach house with not enough yard and moved a few miles away to a house with a huge fenced yard where she could wander and explore. She has brought so much love and joy to our lives. Thank you Jack and SEBR for all you do. She is happy and healthy!❤

We adopted our girl Sassy from Southeast Beagle Rescue. We were told she was tied to a tree in a backyard and used for breeding. She was in a foster home before we got her. Jack met us half way to deliver her to us. She is the most laid back dog I ever owned. She didn't know how to walk on a leash or play with toys. Now, she absolutely loves her walks more than anything. She has a fenced yard, 4 doggie beds throughout the house. She sleeps cuddled next to me in bed every night. We love her to pieces. I always recommend Southeast Beagle Rescue because I see everyday what Jack and the volunteers do to help save the lives of these beautiful Beagles, one of the best breeds of dogs ever.

I have been a volunteer with Southeast Beagle Rescue since December 2013 as a foster mom. I can't begin to tell you how fostering for this rescue has opened up a whole new world for me. The rescue is very good at matching a dog to their foster home. They have been spot on with their foster selections for me. Anything I need, whether it be medication, a medical concern or just needing some advice, they are right there at your disposal. I have learned so much about the beagle breed in general and how to interact with a rescue dog through educational tools that are offered and just advice in general, and I'm still learning something new every day that helps enrich my fostering experience to be a positive one for both myself and my foster dogs. I enjoy fostering for them so much that at times I find myself inviting 3 or 4 fosters at a time when we have an overflow. The physical distance that Southeast Beagle Rescue goes to pick up a dog in need, whether it is a healthy beagle or one needing major medical care amazes me. Every dog is personal to this rescue. I am proud to be a part of Southeast Beagle Rescue.

I adopted a beautiful little beagle/hound from SEBR and she is everything and more than I could wish for. SEBR had her only 2 weeks, but in that time they had her microchipped and spade, got her examined by their vet and brought up to date on her vaccinations. Their adoption flyer was totally accurate. I highly recommend this organization if you are looking for a beagle or beagle mix. Jack and Mike treat the dogs with love and make sure adopters are appropriate for their dogs. I particularly like that I was interviewed and that they spoke to my vet before giving me an OK to adopt. That says alot!

Southeast Beagle Rescue has wonderful volunteers. We adopted our beagle Twain from them and from start to finish, they were great. Mike was the first person I was in contact with and we had a long discussion about the beagle breed and many other topics regarding adopting one of the beagles. Then at our request, Jack brought our Twain to a local vet in Sarasota where we got to meet him and see if we thought he might be a good fit to our family. We have had him for a week and just love him. Donna sent us the paperwork and we are officially adopting him today! Happy days ahead with our new beagle! What a wonderful volunteer group!

I want to say thank you for everyone who helped our little beagle Willow find her way to our home and family. Their dedication to rescuing these sweet dogs and placing them in loving homes is very much appreciated.
Everyone involved with the adoption of our senior Beagle Willow, (Barbara, Mike and Donna), took the time to go over adoption details and made sure I knew that Beagles were scent dogs and that takes special consideration when they are outside and when they are walking.
The care and love they provided as the first line of defense for these rescues shines through in our beagle Willows trust of us after her lifetime of neglect before her rescue.

Why do they charge $400 for puppies and $150 for adult dogs? Why are there puppies from the same parents, over and over, if they spay/neuter all animals? Why aren't the mothers of the puppies up for adoption. This may or may not be a true volunteer organization but it is definitely a puppy mill. This is very concerning.

I've known Southeast Beagle Rescue for over 7 years. They are a wonderful group of people, very dedicated to saving "our precious Beagles". My wife and I lost our Beagle mix this year and contacted Southeast Beagle rescue to adopt one of their rescued Beagles. After filling out the adoption form I was contacted and interviewed with my wife. They contacted our Vet for a reference and shortly afterwards we were approved. The people we were in contact with treated us with respect and were very helpful. Several years back we met Jack the founder of the rescue and I feel the world needs more people like Jack. Very dedicated, would do anything possible to save another Beagle. We're very pleased with our experience with Southeast Beagle Rescue, they do an excellent job.

Had a phenomenal experience with the South East Beagle Rescue group. I was contacted within hours of submitting an application. The interview was friendly, informative and supportive. Within days of the interview I was scheduled to meet a dog for a sleepover (a great concept that doesn't tie an adopter to an animal prematurely). It was even offered to have the dog driven to me... Suffice it to say that they went above and beyond.

When our dog Riley, a beagle/lab mix, passed away last spring unexpectedly, we knew we wanted to adopt another beagle. Generally speaking, we love beagles' fun and gentle dispositions. However, we wanted to be absolutely sure we found a good fit for our lively, young family. I looked at a lot of rescue websites. Southeast Beagle Rescue's adoption process really fit our needs because we were able to have a "sleepover" before committing to adoption. SEBR's dedicated volunteers helped our family with the process by explaining our beagle's needs, providing current medications and checking-in to ensure our beagle was acclimating with our family and vice versa. It was a win, win. During the sleepover process, we uncovered our three-year-old beagle Oscar's loving and vibrant personality. It also gave us an opportunity to get Oscar into a routine with feedings and going potty outside.

In a few short weeks, we were sure Oscar was a wonderful fit for our family. He has brought us so much joy! He loves to play hide-go-seek with my two children, cuddle with us on the couch and bond with his furry friends at the dog park. Thank you SEBR volunteers for your dedication to ensure beagles get a new lease on life!

We have been a beagle household and family for over a decade! They are by far our favorite breed! In the past we have had some adoptions and we have purchased some puppies with papers, but this time we were looking for a new member of the family that wasn't quite a puppy, but not an older gentleman either. I have always followed SouthEast Beagle Rescue (SEBR) on Facebook, and decided to give it a shot! Lynn was incredible to work with, and she found us the perfect match!
Seamus has been with us now for a few months, and he is one of the best beagles we have ever had! Over the last few months, he has warmed his way into our hearts and become best friends with Franklin, our current six-year-old beagle.
I have been so pleased with this entire process and it's success that we will probably continue to adopt beagles through this rescue in the future. Lynn and the staff and volunteers do an incredible job, I would recommend to any and all of my family and friends :-)

In the last year, our family had been wanting to extend our Beagle family so we began to research Beagle Rescue Groups in Florida. We came across SEBR and began to follow their Facebook page and saw all the wonderful work they do. This rescue group is made up of true angels Jack, Lynn, and all the foster mommies and daddies. They are the angels that rescue beagles from horrible situations where pet owners made the mistake of getting a pet like it's a toy not really understand the commitment one must make. This often leads to abandonment on the streets or in kill shelters, injuries, and left to fend for themselves.

SEBR provides hope and a second chance at a furever home for these wonderful Beagles. We were blessed recently with our furever baby Chewie aka. Valentino and are so thankful to SEBR for completing our family.
