My husband and I had the MOST amazing adoption experience at the Southampton Animal Shelter. After losing our precious 7 month old kitten due to an illness that she had from birth and we were unaware of, we just could not go back to the shelter that we had gotten her from. Friends told us about Southampton so we went there and it exceeded our every expectation. The staff was caring, personable, sympathetic, knowledgeable and fun. We ended up adopting TWO kittens from them, a sister and brother that we couldn't be happier about. We go back often to visit with the babies and have also signed up to become volunteers there as well.
