Causes: Alumni Associations, Education
Mission: To build strong and mutually beneficial ties between the college and its alumni and provide alumni with opportunities to contribute to the growth and excellence of the college.
Programs: The south texas college of law alumni association provided supportfor the south texas college of law annual fund. The annual fundprovides critical support for numerous college programs. Among theinitiatives supported by the fund are scholarships, bar passageprograms, classroom technology, the general civil clinic, and thecollege's five centers of excellence: the advocacy program, thefrank evans center for conflict resolution, the corporatecompliance center, the transactional practice center, and the lawinstitute for medical studies. A total of sixteen alumni association scholarships were awarded this year.
