We adopted our hound, Hot Sauce, from SSHS several years ago, and he is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever known. The adoption team was very friendly. They were kind to my adult child, who is disabled. They took careful to place Sauce with us, knowing that we have experience with dogs (Sauce is a hound mix). He is wonderful part of our family, and we enjoy his personality. SSHS does their best for every animal that comes their way.

Stop donating to these people. They give you sick animals and don't really care about they health or warfare. They don't respond to emails or phone calls . They have a fat person with glasses that is so mean and hateful and have a lot of complaints on how she talk to people in person. How she don't return phone calls and ride. They give these pets surgery without checking they heart or lungs to see if they fit to have surgery they end up dying.

The mangers are absolutely horrible and racist I’ve heard and witness them say many nasty and rude comments about not only customers but their employers as well. The energy is very fake and off! All they do is gossip about each other and don’t take you seriously! I would not waste my time EVER going back there again save yourself the trouble/ time!
