Causes: Children & Youth, Youth Development Programs
Mission: Uniting our community for the benefit of our youth. Our purpose is to train and equip young people with the tools necessary so they in turn may impact their families and communities.
Programs: 21st century afterschool program sjya serves as a character education provider in several schools in cumberland county, nj sjya also provides twice a year incentive rewards like nba and mlb games as a reward for positive behavior and improvement of grades to more than 160 students.
we provide school assemblies and character education at after school programs, recreational programs, community events, school district family nights and public schools. Sjya tours middle schools, high schools and elementary schools throughout 15 states bringing motivational speakers to the students. Our 11 topics are under school presentations at our website www. basketball tournaments hosting 3 on 3 tournaments for the past 10 years, sjya brings former athletes to speak and implement our character education programs between rounds to impoverished neighborhoods in south jersey.
house of hope is a program where we work with teens and young adults who need a home and some guidance. We place them in loving homes with caring parents who work with them to attain practical goals.
