South Coast Montessori was founded in January, 2017, by parents, teachers and administrators who found themselves without a home when their previous school closed unexpectedly during the 2016 holiday break. SCM is the only school in Santa Barbara with authentically trained AMI Montessori teachers at all levels, offering programs for children ages 3 months to 6 years old. The school took the best aspects of their previous experiences and created an outstanding educational model. Montessori education is education today for our future leaders and innovators!
