Programs: See schedule o for statement of accomplishments:in fiscal year 9/30/17, still hopes served over 500 individuals and their families on our campus by providing more than 110,000 days of care, served over 220 individuals and families through solutions for living at home, our home care program, provided $225,000 in unreimbursed resident assistance for 2017 and $2,957,000 since the endowment funds were established, received from volunteers over 10,000 hours of loving attention to residents, employed more than 550 individuals paying $13,192,000 in wages and benefits, provided training site for student nurses and certified nursing assistants, and tuition assistance to staff. Still hopes staff and residents provided over 17,000 hours of service to the greater columbia community, contributed more than $500,000 of financial and material support as well as servant leadership to charities,community, church-related, and elder care organizations including but not limited to the following: alzheimer's association causes, habitat for humanity, harvest hope, hearing loss association of america, his house, palmetto senior care support group, leading age, leading age of south carolina, lexington school district 1, lexington school district 2, meals on wheels, midlands tech, palmetto baptist medical center, red cross, salvation army, toys for tots, university of south carolina, uso, and many churches of all denominations.
