Nonprofit Overview
Mission: Sourdough wilderness ranch is a member only non-profit corporationincorporated in the state of utah. The corporation owns a recreationproperty located along highway 39 in the lower monte cristo area of webercounty. Members have the privilege of camping, fishing, hunting,snowmobiling, horseback riding and four wheeling on over 5,000 acres ofprivate mountain property. Guests can be invited on the ranch by membersand to some extent can participate in most of the outdoor activities ifaccompanied by a member.
Programs: Wilderness ranch used by members for camping and many other activities.
sourdough days is an event where the members can come together tocelebrate. Members and their guests can feast on deliciously prepared foodincluding a full breakfast, hot dog lunch, and a huge bbq dinner that goalong with games for kids, bingo, drawings for great items, horseshoestournament, kids fishing contest, a craft sale, a dance, and so much more. It truly has become the event of the year for the entire family.
ranch activities include space for atv riding; a pond stocked andmaintained for fishing; and hunting sports including archery, muzzleloader,and archery.
