What started has a cookout on a city block in an attempt to get to know neighbors has turned into a yearly gathering of the community. When Eric & Angela moved to Appleton with their 7yr old child Kamoira (now 9yrs old) never imagined how difficult it would be to meet neighbors since their chil played with children daily on the block. One day the couple decided to knock on each door in an attempt to have a block party for the families. After getting approval from the city of Appleton and over half the neighbors on the block , the streets were blocked off and we had our first "Unity In The Community" block party! Neighbors grilled food, Rob Ramson performed, we had free food, Fire Engine bounce house clothes giveaway and lots of fun!! Kwik Trip donated, local pastors stopped by with popcorn and talked with all the neighbors. The event was a huge success! This year is the 3rd annual "Unity In The Community" block party & Resource Fair!
