Sonja is someone I met through Instagram. Our frustration, scars and stories are the same. We are both Breast Cancer survivors. We have both fought and won Aggressive Breast Cancer. We both have had care packages given to us during treatment. And we both know what those packages do to ones heart and soul when you receive a care package.
So when Sonja told me about her non-profit, Sonjas Saviors, I knew I needed to help in any way I could.
I went to her Amazon Store and chose what was needed for these beautiful care packages.

Sonjasaviors name says it all. Whether it’s saving someone’s day by putting a smile on there face. Or just being somebody to make somebody else feel good this community is definitely something to go and look forward to. Millions of nonprofit organizations and this one is by far the greatest. Sonja is in all out good caring hearted person who mastered and beat one of the worlds most known situations. But didn’t stop her from doing what she knew she was meant to do. And that’s save other lives as hers was. In this world it’s about survival and the only way around is to have a positive and heart warming mentality when all goes bad. Sonja saviors has saved me and made me think anything is possible. Become apart of something loving, peaceful and fruitful. This is where its at.
I work in the oncology clinic where Sonja often donates her care packages. They never cease to put a smile on a patients face. especially right now during the Covid-19 crisis, patients are not allowed to have visitors with them and are scared during chemo. Getting a care package and telling them a little about Sonja helps them feel like they’re not alone.
I am an oncology nurse who worked with Sonja during her treatments and she inspired me everyday to keep doing what I am doing and spread joy to others. She is giving back to those who are going through treatments by donating her time and efforts to make these special care packages. I have personally delivered many of these to my patients, and wow, do they make a difference! Patients feel so special knowing that a stranger is thinking of them and cheering them on!
