Mission: Solidarity Urban Farms is a part of The Episcopal Church of the Redeemer’s mission to empower our neighbors to live healthy and fulfilling lives. We are a sustainable urban farm network in Lorain, OH realizing community potentials through mutual growth and relationships of solidarity through: Farm to Table food access through WIC & EBT, providing fresh produce for community meals, teaching soil and plant care, mentorship and vocational formation, programming and games for neighborhood youth

Direct beneficiaries per year: 50 youth through cookouts and programming, 1050 adults through free meal programs, 150 volunteers, 5 interns

Programs: Growing organic produce in an urban center, hosting an onsite weekly farm stand that accepts EBT, WIC, SFNP, free weekly cookouts for neighborhood youth, two weekly free community meals that utilize farm produce, educational and fun youth programming, farm internships and more!
