SCAC is a WONDERFUL non-profit! They supported us immediately while many other agencies would hardly give us the time of day. And, they've done the same for many other local artists groups, year after year, with a small staff with an even smaller budget. We simply LOVE Solano County Arts Council--they're the BEST!

Mission: Provide an intercultural dialogue and create opportunities for people to thrive and to make culture and the arts accessible to everyone.

Geographic areas served: We are 100% volunteer organization with no employees. Serving Solano County, California and surrounding areas. Formed in 1965 partners with California Arts Commission (now California Arts Council)
Programs: community arts and culture ... partnering with local projects such as the Art of Peace /Robby Poblete Foundation , the Vallejo Arts Alliance, Artizen Cultural Center, Obtainium Works, Lotus Girls, local Artists, Unions, community leaders, individuals and organizations
