Mission: The Southern Oregon Humane Society is a non-profit Corporation dedicated to the humane treatment of dogs and cats in Jackson County. We serve the community by providing shelter and adoption services for displaced pets, by reducing pet over-population through spay and neuter programs, by providing humane education and by our commitment to a ?full adoption? policy for our shelter.
Target demographics: find homes and save lives of homeless pets
Direct beneficiaries per year: 1410 pets find homes, 700 of those pets saved from euthanasia at other shelters.
Geographic areas served: Medford, Orgon
Programs: a no kill shelter where no pet will run out of time or space and we will find them a forever home. We serve senior pets, special medical needs, harder to adopt and those pets about to be euthanized a other shelters. We provide spay/neuter, microchips, all vacinations and medical care for our pets until adopted.
