I've had the privilege of working with Socks for Souls to help the displaced around the South Bay area. Sock for Souls generously donated close to 800 pairs of socks to our Homeless Outreach team to hand out to the less fortunate. The gratitude and tears of joy are something money can't buy. Thank You Riley and everyone else at Socks for Souls. Your kindness is an inspiration!
Socks for Souls, Inc delivered 900 pairs of brand new socks to our agency. They were a wonderful gift and Step Up uses socks on a daily basis by the street outreach teams who are out trying to engage individuals experiencing homelessness. They did what they said they would do, when the said they would do it , and delivered the product they had described. Wonderful! We are honored to be a part of their family. Thanks Socks for Souls!
A huge “Shout Out” to Socks For Souls Inc. Thank you for your generous donation of socks to Reach For The Top. Riley is an inspiration and a true example of being in contribution to those in need.

We are so grateful for the 900 pairs of socks for our homeless, runaway & foster youth we serve here at Los Angeles Youth Network. And we are doubly glad we have found a community partner in Socks For Souls. Thank you for all the socks, the kids are going to love having warm toes this winter!
I have helped with this organization on two separate occasions. My first experience was to be a part of their HomeWalk team for the United Way community partnership they created. It was such a fun event. They had a booth in which they took fun photos of groups participating in the walk for free and e-mailed it groups. They were very kind, energetic and helpful. They also were collecting new socks and undergarments that day. One just walked away from their booth wanting to do small things, collectively, for the greater good of those in need. The other time I volunteered with the organization was during their community partnership with Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission in San Fernando Valley. It was a long distance to drive, but they were helping to serve Thanksgiving to those in need and provide socks to those in need. The people who run this non-profit are all heart and willing to do what is needed to provide that small gift. Before I volunteered with this group, I didn’t realize how important socks were and I didn’t realize that there was such a shortage in our LA area. I am very satisfied with what they are doing and since they live in Los Angeles, they see first hand the difference they are making in the LA area. I really support their mission and I look forward to other volunteering opportunities with them.
We love Socks for Souls! My daughter who is 10 years old was doing a community project about 5 months ago and knew she wanted to help people in some way and socks for souls was a perfect match! It was very easy to get help from Riley to set up donation boxes at our schools and work and so much fun as well to see the appriciation on the faces of the people we helped to deliver the socks to. We will continue to collect and make donations to socks for souls!
Socks for Souls is a great charity started by a young lady , Riley Beres, at I believe she 16. Since then it has grown into
Quite a force in the LA area. I have participated in a sock drive and walks for this charity and I intend to keep supporting them going forward.
It's a great cause. You can support them with confidence that your donation will go to the needy!
I've had the joyful experience of volunteering with Socks for Souls Inc a few times, and each time I've learned something new. From serving Thanksgiving meals to creating basic hygiene packs for the numerous individuals living on skid row, each volunteer service has left an impact on my life. This nonprofit does more than supply and demand; Socks for Souls listens and provides solutions to the needs of various shelters or homeless communities. They focus on the real issues of everyday homelessness. Socks for Soles cares about the community they provide too, and strives to make every service, no matter how big or small, mean something to someone in need. I am grateful to have volunteered with this organization, and look forward to seeing what they can accomplish.
I have worked with Riley for some time, including participation in a documentary on homelessness (Hope for Our Own: An LA Story) at which time she saw firsthand the ongoing needs of this population. Riley has collected socks for Harbor Interfaith, specifically to be distributed during outreach to those living on the streets. I shared with Riley that the socks are not only a basic need, but is the olive branch to have conversations with the homeless about enrolling in homeless services. Riley is an amazing individual that goes that extra mile for those in need & developing Socks for Souls is just one more example of ways she helps.
Socks for Souls has donated hundreds of pairs of socks to Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission's Help Center and we could not be more grateful! Riley has such a heart of service, abundant compassion, and her drive and tenacity are absolutely inspiring. Our homeless clients have been so blessed by these socks...sometimes it's the little things that make a BIG difference. Thank you Socks for Souls, we are honored and grateful to be one of your partners!
Socks for Souls donated a number of sock to our agency. Our agency serves individuals experiencing homelessness and sock are always in demand for our folks. We do not always have the resources to purchases sock for our clients so it was such a gift to receive these socks. We so appreciate everything that Socks for Souls has done for our agency!
Socks for Souls has contributed over 1,700 pairs of socks to My Friend's Place to support youth experiencing homelessness in Hollywood. We appreciate their partnership!
Socks for Souls is a wonderful organization. I've been fortunate to work with founder Riley through two different social service/mental health agencies on Los Angeles's Westside. She is knowledgeable and attuned to the challenges homeless people face and seeks to match the goods she has secured with the specific needs of an agency at any given time. Thanks to Riley's energy and talent, Socks for Souls continues to grow and find new donors for the benefit of all of us!
