The Society of St. Vincent de Paul in Pensacola-Century is dedicated to helping the poor and homeless in the community. There are a number of ways in which this is accomplished.

By providing low cost items such as clothing, furniture, household goods, etc in our 4 thrift stores, we enable our customers to furnish their homes and cloth their families. In times of crisis, such as fires, evictions, etc. we will provide free merchandise with love and hope. These clients are screened so that we make the best use of the donations given to us.

Our Alfred-Washburn Center for the Homeless provides food, showers, laundry facilities, I.D.'s, mail drop and local phone service for the homeless.

Our two food pantrys are providing food to hundreds of men, women and children each month.

Our local conferences provide financial help such as rental and utility assistance and food.
