Mission: Society for Handicapped Rehabilitation and Empowerment (S.H.A.R.E.) was founded in 1998 as a program to get physically and emotionally challenged understand they can lead a productive and useful life and take an active role in society. We teach these people how to sail a boat and as their abilities grow, let them captain their own boats. We then relate this learning process to the roles in society which they can take a part in.
