Nonprofit Overview
Mission: The scbt-mr was founded by academic and research pioneers to educate practicing radiologists in the use of body ct and mr. As a leader, the scbt-mr sponsors continuing medical education courses each year which provide in-depth converge on a range of critical topics. In addition, the society has developed an annual research awards program to provide grants and awards for important clinical breakthrough research.
Programs: Annual course: the annual course of the society includes an educational course, a scientific session, a meeting of the board of directors, the annual business meeting of the society and a meeting of the fellows of the society. The course is held in early fall and runs for six days. The faculty for the educational course is drawn from the fellows of the society. Tabletop exhibits and a reception are included.
