A few days ago, I brought my five-month-old tabby kitten, Runner, to Snip Collier for a spay. We call her Runner because I found her in the engine block of my Toyota 4 Runner when she was barely weaned, about eight weeks old.
I found Snip Collier to be professional, efficient, clean and caring! I felt completely comfortable bringing my rescue baby to them. Go here!

I'm one of the volunteers for SnipCollier. Day one, Tom took me down to a street on Naples where there's a bunch of homeless people living. Yes, here in Naples, one of the richest cities in the country. Met Panda and a couple other dogs that Tom had helped.
My next trip was to East Naples to a trailer park. A lot of the people there work as migrant farmers for 'big ag'. 7:00 in the morning they open their doors up and the dogs come out. They ran the streets until they finished their 'business' which is eating, pooping and 'meeting' their boyfriends and girlfriends.
One lady had been ticketed by the county and they called us to help. We neutered one male, two females and found a little dog in her backyard with a puppy that she said wasn't hers. We took the little dog a puppy and found homes for them.
The lady talked to her neighbors and it took about a year but every dog in the four street neighborhood was fixed.
It's a constant moving target though. People move in and out. They bring more dogs. So, we have to go back again and again and canvas the neighborhood.
Please come join us. We need volunteers to help.
I wholeheartedly support this nonprofit group. Tom, Pat and Jill are three of the most dedicated people I know. It's great to see their success stories with pictures of all the dogs they have helped. Families in need in Collier County have a great resource in Snip Collier.
I have had the privilege of meeting those who make SNIP Collier an amazing organization. As a volunteer at a local shelter I see firsthand the importance of what they are doing. It's not an easy job. Not only are they amazing people but they are doing amazing things! Keep up the great work guys!
SNIP Collier is doing this community a great service by reducing the chance of dogs having more unwanted puppies that end up in our local shelters.
My experience is with the founder Tom Kepp. He is by far a man on a mission, and what a chore it must be to go around and communicate with all the local vets, shelters, as well as going into the communities looking for dogs that need to be spayed or neutered, all while doing this on his own time and money. Tom met my wife through the local humane society and the two clicked and are now a team with the other volunteers to reduce the number of dogs being brought into our county's domestic animal services.
