When I reflect on this extraordinary organization and all the outstanding people involved, especially the founder and the main members, who dedicate almost all of their free time to it and their amazing spouses do too. I am inspired, amazed and feel so much pride and honor that I was given the opportunity to really get to know them. Their overwhelming support to their brothers and sisters that have served or who are still serving our country, keeping us safe, protecting our rights, amendments and freedom. They put their lives on the line for us. When most people run away from the danger, they run towards it. They take pride in their professional responsibilities and duties. Anyone can be a cop but it takes so much more to be a law enforcement officer. Sadly in today’s society so many have turned their backs on the only people who truly have our backs, who when you call them, they come, who put strangers lives before their own. The things they have witnessed that they can never unsee and though they have been through so much, their hearts are still pure as gold. They have showed me what it is to truly support one another, the true meaning of respect, friendship and family. I wish I could explain just how much this organization has literally touched my heart and how thankful I am for each and every one of them and that they are all my heroes.
