Smithsonnia Children's Home USA Inc. (SCH) is a program in Mattru Jong, Sierra Leone West Africa to provide food, shelter and education for orphans and vulnerable children in that town. It was begun by director Massah Smith, a native of Mattru Jong now living in Virginia. It is the parent program for Sonnia House, the on site program that provides daily food, shelter and school uniforms and tuition for 125 children. To learn the full story behind SCH, visit our website at https://www.sonniahouse.org/. Also follow us on Facebook -follow the link at the bottom of the website page.
At present, we are involved with raising funds for school uniforms and tuition for the new school year there. We MUST have these for the kids to be able to go to school. Our need is for $13,000 to meet these goals. Please check out our website to see how you can help-I'm sure you'll be touched by the story of SCH. We'd love to have you join us on our journey. Thanks very much!
