Causes: Disaster Aid, Fire Prevention
Mission: To provide firefighting services to the town of smithsburg and the surrounding communities. Additionally provide educational programs in fire safety to the local schools and community and provide working smoke detectors to all residents who do not have them in their homes.
Target demographics: Provide assistance to our Community and families as well as surrounding jurisdictions in their time of need.

Geographic areas served: Smithsburg and surrounding areas protecting Life, Property and the Environment
Programs: Provided firefighting services to the town of smithsburg and the surrounding communities. Also, participating in numerous community events, promoting fire safety and assisting residents and businesses to have working alarms in every home and business.
