Mission: The slaton senior citizens association provides nutrition, health and outreach programs for the senior citizens of slaton, texas and the surrounding areas. This includes meals delivered to home bound senior citizens, as well as recreation offered at the center.
Programs: The slaton senior citizens center prepared meals and provided recreational facilities and activities to seniors in the local area. The center also prepared and delivered meals to seniors unable to travel to the center. The center provided services to approximately 9,600 members this year. The center is open 250 days of the year in order to effectively provide these services to senior citizens.
