I have known about and supported this nonprofit for over 20 years!
It started out as a children's charity and has grown into SO MUCH MORE! The leadership of the charity has diversified its outreach to include families and the surrounding communities that INCLUDE support for the surrounding police and fire departments as well as other First Responders.
Skyeward Bound Ranch in association with its affiliate nonprofit, Diamond Wishes, makes wishes come true for families with terminally ill children. This includes Disney cruises as well as other immersive events that help make a physically challenged child feel and BE EMPOWERED.
These family oriented events have helped redefine WHO and WHAT FAMILY is and means, and have taken away barriers and stigmas for families and community members who did not KNOW HOW to help and show support. NOW, they do and DO SO PROUDLY!
