Well run and serving good causes throughout the country. Is helping protect our children from the insanity of the outmoded gun laws that allow the slaughter of innocents and protect no one but greedy arms dealers and gun manufacturers.
The Sixteen Thirty Fund is currently swamping two political contests in Colorado, the recall/retention of State Senator Angela Giron (D-Pueblo) and the recall/retention of John Morse (D-Colorado Springs). Almost half of Giron's warchest comes from Sixteen Thirty (less than 2% is from her district), and $35,000 of Morse's funds come from Sixteen Thirty. As a 501(c)4, prohibited by law from contributing to candidates, political campaigns or political parties, Sixteen Thirty, an out-of-state organization, seems remarkably close, or perhaps over the line as far as what is legal and ethical. Perhaps they hope to slip by the notice of an politicized IRS and DOJ, which have displayed extraordinary disinterest in enforcing the law equally.
