Mission: The Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, founded in the United States in the 1840's have been educators of children, and young adults, the poor and marginalized throughout the United States, Africa, Latin and Central America, and Asia. This mission/ministry has expanded to include work with Americorps and other groups throughout the world. The SND's continue to adapt their mission to today's world.
