Causes: Cancer
Mission: Sisters network dallas, affiliate chapter of sisters network incorporated, primary purpose is to increase local and national attention to the devastating impact that breast cancer has in the african-american community. This is accomplished by providing support to breast cancer survivors and their families and providing breast health awareness and educational information to communities in dallas/fort worth texas.
Programs: Mission delivery - funded 10 mammograms for under or uninsured women, provided financial assistance to 20 breast cancer survivors facing financial challenges during treatment and provided breast health awareness education to over 500 people.
membership survivor support - provided social and emotional support to 40 breast cancer survivors and their families.
