To help sister care get noticed here's my store I got accepted into the shelter at sister care cause I helped a another client determine that her room had bed bugs I get kicked out the very next day because she left that night and they tried to state I made her leave I have pictures and text messages proving the bedbugs and that the lady left on her own I feel very unsafe that place begged me to go get help when I did they turned me in to the streets with nowhere to go and now have caused me to loose what home I did have I might have been getting beat on but at least I had a roof over my head and not have to worry about be cold or in the streets

Sistercare will be a leader in ensuring that the topic of Intimate Partner Violence remains a top priority here in South Carolina, a state ranked #1 or #2 repeatedly in homicide as a result of domestic violence. This organization has programs and survivor advocates in all 5 counties surrounding and including the city of Columbia. They are there before you even know you need them and will stay there until you feel you can make it on our own. Everyone, from the grant writer to the court advocates, the shelter staff to the community advocates, and the volunteers are professional and passionate. I am fortunate to have been able to become of part of their team.
