They work tireless to supply the local community with food for the people less fortunate. I donate to this worthy organization as I do't live in the area to volunteer my time. Please donate as 100% of the proceeds go right back to buying more food.

This organization is run by dedicated volunteers who give countless hours every month to help those less fortunate. They really pulled through during the recent fires in the community with feeding the regular people in need as well as the fire evacuees in shelters and those who were left homeless. Thank you to all who help donate goods and those who help distribute. This is a great organization.
this food bank does not just give food to those who need and qualify for it, in the summer they were giving hot meals to the homeless and those in motels with no cooking facilities five days a week. Laura and Mary are doing extras and even give out blankets, toiletries, and clothes that were donated by the community. During fire evacuations, they used their own facility to collect donations for the evacuees. They allowed them to come every week for food instead of just once a month (which is the normal time frame). I volunteered there for a time and really enjoyed the energy the other volunteers were showing. The locals shared their food from the gardens they planted, which the people really enjoyed.
Siskiyou Community Food Bank has help me in alot of ways..from being a client to volunteer to board member its a pleasure to help our community and help prevent hunger.
This food bank has become a huge blessing for me & my family. When we are in need of food it's nice to know there's somewhere I can go to get help.
We are here to help end hunger in Siskiyou County. Our customers are typically low-income and victims of disaster. Customers can access food (about 35 lbs) monthly. There is never a charge to customers. We are open Mondays & Thursdays 1 PM to 3:45PM. So many of our customers tell us how much this helps them to feed their families each month. Some are teary-eyed when they see the amount and quality of the food they receive. 1601 S. Oregon St, Yreka, CA 96097 (entrance on Keglar Lane).
