I've wanted to write a review for a while now. Words cannot describe the depths of sincere appreciation and gratitude I have for this rescue organization. In 2018, something inside of me said to go on petfinder one day. In moments, I fell hard for what was going to be, the most purest love I ever held. I'm not a human mommy, but I was and will forever be the mommy of my Sophia. I was told by the foster mom, she thought she would become the forever mom of my baby, because she was nearly all blind, and very hard of hearing. That she was surprised how quickly they recieved a response of interest. They named her Grechen before she came to me. I was blessed to have Sophia in my life, and she truly will forever be my princess, and the most perfect girl in my world. She took up most of my camera, and sadly I'm only able to post 4. One before and after, the rest, some, but certainly not all of my favorite memories my baby gave me. I know in my heart, No one could have given her the love and care she needed to keep up with her health, and there were no lengths too great. She kept me sane through grad school, she was my best reason to come home, went on my military TDYs with me, and returned back to my home state, long island, NY, where she had her grandma, grandpa, and others who loved her very much. Including her brother, Parker. ❤️

Programs: Sinbad-sadie second chance rescue is a non-profit animal rescue working to reduce euthanasia of adoptable animals in south carolina. At ssscr we coordiante with area shelters to ease overcrowding and find loving, permanent homes for abandoned, abused and neglected animals.
