Mission: Signposts ministries' mission is to serve families that have children with chronic health problems or disabilities, both locally and internationally, for the glory of god, through compassionate, godly care, in a manner that serves the whole person. We strive to minister to families and meet their needs, to the best of our ability, in all of these areas: social, emotional, physical, intellectual, and spiritual.
Programs: Assisted in travel expenses for doctors to northern africa; sent medical supplies to northern africa; assisted in surgery expenses for patients in northern africa; distributed medical equipment to families domestically; sent medical equipment to el salvador; hosted community events at our building for families of children with special healthcare needs and opened a co-working space for other nonprofits, healthcare, and education professionals; helped families with guidance in working with medicaid and local school system iep programs; maintained updated information on website and facebook to help families keep up with current medical studies and innovations; loaned and donated medical equipment and supplies to local children with special healthcare needs; partnered with union county school system to help ec students meet course requirements; opened space to other nonprofits, such as innovative approaches, for meetings; offered free social skills groups over the summer.
