I took my goddaughter to her first professional production this year at Signature. We went to HAIRSPRAY and it was an effervescent, joyful, professional and exciting production. My eleven year old goddaughter was enraptured and had a tremendous first experience in the theater world. What a gift! Thank you, Signature!

For more than ten years as a fan and regular audience member I worked to get on the board of this great theater and amazing organization. In my 3+ years of board work I've come to admire the
Org even more for their integrity and commitment to creating the best audience experience possible. Signature makes Big Theater acessi le and intimate. Where else could you see Les Miz with a cast of 25, orchestra of 20 and an audience of only 250??? It's extra-ordinary and not to be missed
My husband and I started attending performances at Signature Theatre many years ago - even before the "garage" location and we have been inspired by so many of the productions that we have seen there. Once the theater company moved to the garage, we fell head over heels in love. And, now, we get to see great theater in a magnificent space in Shirlington Village. Signature's two new theaters are fantastic and the lobby is a wonderful space for communing with fellow theater goers. There is almost always a fun surprise tied to the running show appearing in the walkway leading into the theatre (much as there was in the garage) and the productions are almost always amazing. I have so many favorites: the Fix, most of the Sondheims, but especially the Sweeny Todd with Norm Lewis, Passion, Assasins, and Kander and Ebb'sSpiderwoman and The Visit. Did you get to see this year's production of Chess? We saw it three times. And, then, of course, there are the risks Signature takes. The new work is exciting and challenging. Sometimes it's brilliant and sometimes not. However, that's what I want theater to do - expose me to new writers, composers, etc. Did you see Highest Yellow, did you see Giant? What gifts they were to those of us who love theater. Needless to say, I can go on and on. We have become Signature devotees. Our love affair with Signature thrives, and if you're not going, you are missing out on a great thing. Go out an buy your tickets now!!!!
