Mission: In an inviting, warm, and personal setting, the Sign of Jonah Acupuncture Clinic provides affordable acupuncture, therapeutic massage, traditional Chinese herbs, and holistic lifestyle coaching to people of limited resources, especially people who are formerly homeless, people living with HIV, and people in recovery from alcohol and substance abuse. Committed to wholeness, healing, and spiritual growth, the Sign of Jonah encourages patients, staff, and volunteers to share their lives and efforts in a spirit of partnership, mutual support, and community.
Programs: We operate a Complementary Therapies program offering acupuncture, therapeutic massage, access to Chinese herbs, and holistic lifestyle coaching for health maintenance and well-being. We operate a Recovery Program for formerly homeless men and women in recovery from substance abuse. Part of the Recovery Program includes providing detoxification acupuncture to Samaritan Inns' Intensive Recovery Program.
