I have volunteered for this non-profit for twenty years now. It is the best kept secret in Nevada County, helping the blind and visually impaired in Nevada and Placer Counties stay in their homes and out of institutions. They provide transportation and support groups. They also act as an advocate in many situations.
This is my non-profit of choice because they serve a community with purpose and love doing it!
