I live here at sienna Francis shelter and recently my things has came up stolen! Like (3) pair of brand new sandals and some more things! I have told staff a few times but All they do is just say ok! I always have my things in my locker and no I have not got a lock on it but still doesn't give anyone the right to steal my things! I also have had a few more ladies to tell me the same thing! Can someone please look into this! Your supposed to feel safe here but you can't without worrying about your things are going to come up stolen!

I wish someone that is important will read this! I’ve been homeless over 10 years off and on! And Siena Francis I’ve been here since 2016 and still to this date I’m homeless! 28 million dollars is donated every year but I’m still homeless like thousands are! Someone or a group of people are stealing these donations and grant money for there own personal use! This is sad ! I’m in this program and go threw the process that tries to take a long time to discouraging to give up! Where is all that money going to! The food they Serve is awful!!the beds aren’t clean and the staff is mean like your in prison!

I enjoy donating to the Siena Francis House. They always share stories of how grateful the residents are for clothing or food and how happy it will make them.

I entered into Siena Francis To continue my progress to break the chain of not only addiction and homelessness. Upon Arriving at the shelter I was introduced to a man by the name of Paul who is a assistant manager at the shelter. Our encounters together has been terrible. If he doesn't cuss me out by saying ,"shut the F up " to me or other disparaging remarks he has been terribly rude to the point that he sent me to The Director Ward to discuss my working weekly bed which I gave time after time some type of documentation to my employment and even suggested to speak with my employer at the Urban Abby.

Because I am shown to be productive and proactive in my sobriety as well as my homelessness since loosing my home to Domestic Violence and a fire that I loss everything I worked hard for over the years, I have received rude reactions or immediate disrespect by staff and program participants. I have even gotten dead rats and mice thrown on my bed or around my bunk . I responded to ward about the situation and he called me a liar and stated in my face that he wouldn't even trust my ass,and that he would trust programmers who buy drugs from the day house and also sell it at the shelter, or Paul who allows this to go on every day and also sells Cigarettes to support himself at the shelter ( I STAND BY THIS ACCUSATION) !

I have noticed that his behavior is truly not sober living and strongly do not believe he should be in the position of Director of Siena Francis let alone a Ice cream truck.

He don't know how to talk to people and uses a Jim Crow attitude to deal with social issues and concern at the shelter.

I came to the shelter , not to work on anyone else's drama or to be involved in any hyperbole

, but rather be a model of society as well as sober living.

I have been treated to have my working weekl;y removed or to be thrown out , Just because I refused to be a part of the cycle of abuse and neglect within the seina Franics house.

Finally , I do hope that action is taken torwards these individuals so that men at the shelter will be able to see hope and respect in everyone's lives . The reason mean have probably come to the shelter in the first place is because society may have given up on them, but the cycle of abuse needs to stop and it should start with Mr. Ward and Paul .

Have a blessed day
