I feel that they are doing a great job. I would let others know about the care that she has is awesome. Thanks
In my experience Shurrun's house goes far beyond supporting those struggling to maintain sobriety. Shurrun's proved to be a safe haven for me, a person with no drug or alcohol abuse history to get back on my feet during the pandemic near the end of 2020 and early 2021. The organizers are very down to earth and, moreover, provide basic necessities when they are otherwise lacking. I would love to see Shurrun's become a community supported by grants or partner with other nonprofits to become a larger nonprofit in the DFW area. It would also be nice to see poverty number decrease, if multiple branches were to be formed. I would love to see transportation partnership for those without vehicles struggling to get to work, orientation or interviews. Thank you for your service!
The house has done well with providing essentials to those in need while maintaining exceptional and qualified service and high standards of living.
The nonprofit is providing a place for ladies to be able to reenter society with new skills and support to be successful. I dont see any improvements that are needed at this time.

They are giving a home to some people that may otherwise have been homeless and lost. They maintain a positive role in the community and give back to the community. The only thing I could see maybe doing to add to the other wonderful things they do is maybe get a few more Shurrun's houses in the area.
I love this organization. The owner is very loving and caring person. She puts the clients needs first. Her priority is to make sure that the clients are successful in the program.
She takes care of her women in the house very well and makes sure they are situated and ready to be successful.

This sober living home has all the tools needed for residents to succeed. They help with rental assistance, free food, clothing, public and private transportation so residents can make meeting and work on time. Residents are also required to stay very active in their recovery to prevent relapse.
I have volunteered with this nonprofit organization on several occasions. They are always giving back to the community and attending events that involve the low income areas of Dallas Texaa

Shurrun's House is a very special place geared towards building women back up, encouraging them to be who God made them to be, giving them lasting skills to keep them on the right track, and self love. It's a beautiful thing to have such a place to go to!
I would recommend Shurruns Place to women who’s looking for a clean and neat environment . It’s the perfect place for women to feel comfortable and safe while being apart of the program . The owner is very professional and cares about providing a better life for the women coming in .
The nonprofit is doing great about reaching out for the public's help, and letting everyone know about events.
The home that the organization has established is organized well and offers residents with everything they need and great resources to better their lives.
Shurrun's House is doing a great job providing much needed support for the South Dallas community. Shurrun's House is providing a clean and safe place for those in need of assistance with self betterment.
This nonprofit is making an impact on the community by providing women a place to stay who would other wise be homeless. We need more safe places that support women recovery.
Another great organization to empower women at becoming positive role models for others who may have been through the same thing
I volunteer from time to time and all the women in the home are committed to their recovery and they work hard towards keeping them selves busy and working on bettering themselves.
Great place for the women to come and stay sober. If they don't have the funds right off, the organization works with them to allow time for them to secure employment before they have to worry about having to pay their full portion of the rent. It's great they work with you because most have no money starting out
Shurrun's House saw a need in the community to help the less fortunate and has created a welcoming comfortable environment for the ladies to feel at home, feel safe and not have to worry about where they would sleep at night. A homeless shelter is no place for women and especially someone who is in active recovery because they are filled with drug addicts that are not trying to get clean and can also be a trigger for someone who recently recovered from alcohol and drug abuse.
We help the women gain their independence while staying drug free. When they don’t have a place to turn to because of the bridges burned during addiction , we give that second chance and allow a person to prove they have changed
Nice organization assisting women otherwise they would be homeless or in homeless shelters if they had no family or friend support.
This organization is there for women after addiction treatment and helps them get on their feet. They have safe housing to come to on the bus route so they could look for employment and eventually gain their own independence. This is a great place to turn to when you don’t have much money but still want the help.
Shurrun's House is a non profit sober living house. They accept referrals for women in transition in the community in need of a change to fight their addictions. They assist them with access to employment opportunities, resources within the community . They are easy to work with and give 110% in the rehabilitation process.
