Mission: Shunpike's mission is to provide independent arts groups in washington state with the services, resources, and opportunities they need to forge their own paths to sustainable success.
Programs: Fiscal sponsorship - shunpike's fiscal sponsorship service supports independent arts groups by providing a cost-effective administrative infrastructure. Shunpike currently has 161 arts groups under its fiscal sponsorship.
storefronts - work with local partners to create vibrant neighborhoods by activating empty commercial storefront spaces with temporary art installations.
aces - aces is a people-of-color initiated three-day conference created to center and support artists of color in washington state. The conference includes keynote speakers, panel discussions, performances, listening sessions and an art exhibit. The program is led by a steering committee that consists of representatives from shunpike and several partner organizations in our region's arts community.
