Causes: Family Services, Human Services
Mission: Shults-lewis child & family services' primary purpose is to provide at-risk children ages 12-18 in indiana and adjoining states whose parents cannot or are not meeting their needs with residential services, education, and counseling with an overlay of christian teaching and care.
Programs: During 2014, shults-lewis served 22 children with a total of 5,587 days of care. Shults-lewis program staff met with the family of each resident on a monthly basis and with each individual resident on a weekly basis. Group sessions were conducted three to five times a week. The agency also offers four family workshops each semester to help equip parents or guardians with family unification.
