I was amazed to witness the impactful work of this nonprofit and how they mobilize the community to give attention to pressing issues such as food donations, animal charities, and assisting with disaster relief.
I am involved in this organization as a volunteer. Every donor is interested to see how their donations are being used. As a donor to this organization, I had the same curiosity. SRMD- USA San Diego chapter partners and supports organizations in our local community. It is non profit organization and They do such a wonderful charity by giving donations such as donated 1365 pounds of food to Feeding San Diego, They worked with homeless shelters to provide 500 plus hygiene kits, gently used toys and clothes. They donated over 2000 peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to local organizations like path san Diego and other homeless shelters. Also During Back to School Drive they donated 1100 School supply kits and 200 backpacks and served to Title I schools. They extended their love and care for Babies, Kids, men, women,seniors and families in need by donating childcare items, women's care items, encouragement cards for seniors, clothes, toys, books, food, water, winter care, blankets, etc.
SRMD USA has been able to mobilize the volunteers through USA for various local and international charitable activities especially during bigger events like pandemic that needed all hands on the deck.
It has been an amazing experience to be associated to and volunteer for this organization with deep rooted values! Right from the ease of signing up to the execution of a task from a wide variety of opportunities! It is a while some experience with a very friendly team and support. SRMD USA gave us an amazing opportunity to participate in packing several hundred meals for those in Ukraine. The organization maintained high levels of quality checks with the packaged foods. The arrangements for this massive event showed the highest level dedication of the organizing committee for this Noble cause. Recently worked with SRMD on COVID-19 related efforts. The volunteers were incredibly humble and happy. The amazing part was that all volunteers stayed from the beginning till the end and didn’t just stick to doing what they were assigned. They continuously were asking how they could help and make things better for the future weeks for us. Their goal was to help as many covid patients as possible efficiently, and perfectly during their assigned volunteer time and future appointments. SRLC-USA is one of the finest examples of what one can do when everyone has a common interest to serve our communities.
I volunteer as a project manager on the team and am responsible for reporting and rolling out new programs across the USA. The love and enthusiasm our volunteers have is incredible.
Every month some type of activity or charity event is done for the communities we serve throughout America. In addition we conduct coordinated events as a common theme.
In the picture attached we recently (2019) obtained, packaged, and distributed 15,000 hygiene kits throughout the US. This year we donated over 16 tons of food and 23k face masks to local communities in USA. The masks are donated to hospitals, shelters, nursing homes and the food to under privileged members of the community who were hit by financial hardships due to COVID-19 such as homeless shelters or unemployed low income people.
All of our volunteers are unpaid and seek only to selflessly serve our communities and the nation with a kind, generous heart.
One example of this compassion, is that we include a hand written note blessing the recipient with love and compassion. For example each kit had 1 hand written note, as do snack packs and meals when we serve them.
This is all made possible by the inspiration of our charity’s founder and sets the tone for the values we cherish and exhibit.

Shrimad Rajchandra Mission provided us a platform to serve at local Philadelphia organizations. Two such organizations are Manna on Main Street that is ending hunger in Montgomery County and the other is Project C.U.R.E. that provides medical supplies to people who need it the most and is located in Chester County. All of the volunteers at these two locations have served multiple times and have felt the impact of their work helping the world become a better place.

Also it has conducted clothing donation drive for Bhutan Refugees through SEWA international.

This is a wide spread organization with. Dry enthusiastic volunteers serving local communities with clothes food and other needs. They are also stiving to expand their service at the national level.
SRMD-USA is an amazing organization, 100% run by volunteers. As a volunteer, I gain the maximum benefit through self-development; service to others is just a by-product.
Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur is one of the best non-profit organization I have ever seen. You truly see the difference in what they do abd how they help out with people with needs as well as animals who needs help. They have made hospital to assist the poor. The founder of the mission who an embodiment of love, Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai(loving called as Bapa) is the guiding light of thousand of spiritual seekers that are part of this mission. It was summer of 2005 when I first heard Dr. Rakesh Jhaveri (fondly addressed as “Bapa”), founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission, Dharamapur (SRMD) who was addressing a large gathering of people in Queens, New York. While I went to listen to him out of sheer curiosity, it was a life-changing event for me. Over the years, I saw the enormous social work that this organization (SRMD) has been doing – be it spiritual elevation and personal growth of people, touching the lives of the children, helping less fortunate people with needed medical assistance, women’s health and their upliftment, children’s education, rehab centers for elderly, and soup kitchens to list a few. I have confidently and joyfully supported this organization for the past few years because it cares for the physical and spiritual needs of people in ways that are sustainable and empowering to the recipients. I am blessed to be a part of such a wonderful mission, and I will continue to do so.
SRMD - USA is a great non-profit which helps serve the people and animals in need. I appreciate the efforts of the SRMD team. The team members are very professional and they make sure the money I donate goes to the right cause. It covers a very wide spectrum of social service initialtives from Animal Care to human care to Education care to Women Care, Tribal Care, etc to name a few.

SRMD (USA) has played a very important role in my personal growth – both spiritually as well as offering seva (volunteering for a noble cause). I offer my seva as a facilitator at Shrimad Rajchandra Divine Touch, a program for children and teens, inspiring them to live an enriching and meaningful life, in line with the teachings of the Enlightened Souls. Touching the lives of young children and imparting values and knowledge has given me great satisfaction.
The ‘LOVE AND CARE’ program of SRMD (USA) has been very instrumental in the lives of these young children and has motivated them to participate in various volunteering activities at Senior Citizen and Rehab centres, Nursing Homes and Soup Kitchens.
Through SRMD (USA), I have learned that “Seva is love in action”!
I have recently started volunteering with SRMD USA. Their cause is noble and activities fill up hearts with love. The mission helps those in need and conducts selfless services at the grassroot level. From serving dinner to homeless to Halloween/ Holiday Toy Drive for orphans to spending a day with elderly, etc., the mission reaches out to less fortunate ones through selfless services and re-establishes faith in their hearts that GOD is everywhere and extends HIS hands to those who call for HIM.
I have been fortunate to be a part of SRMDUSA. This organization has given me opportunity to serve selflessly and be caring and compassionate towards others.
This organization helps to grow spiritually with various kinds of Retreats and Meditation program and makes you better person.
They also help others in the society regardless of race or religion. They help the needy people by providing food,clothing,blankets or any needed help.
They have excellent program for children ( all age group) to learn about different religions and culture which helps to broaden their thinking.
They have programs for caring for animals,stopping them from going to slotter house and providing food,shelter and medical help.
This organization is very sensitive about environment, limit the use of water,paper products etc.

I have been a volunteer for SRMD (USA) for nearly 10 years and have participated in a wide range of charity and spritiual activities. I have gained tremendous emotional satisfaction by contributing to its charity projects. In the near future, SRMD (USA) has plans to expand its wings of charity projects and help serve the local communities. I am involved in the Love and Care program of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission. This mission has enhanced my journey of caring and giving and made me spiritually stronger.
I offer my services to Shrimad Rajchandra Love and Care a program under the banner of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (USA), in India. There are normally one or two Seva* camps every month, I attended such seva camps in villages where people even don't have money to travel to visit to the nearest hospital. I wish everyone can help such people by donating or offering service.
*“Seva” is a Sanskrit word meaning “selfless service” or work performed without any thought of reward or repayment.
I know this organization because they came to the trenton soup kitchen to offer the donation with the nice message written on a card for every one there. Volunteers are very loving and kind.
I am amazed with the amount of charity work done in India and in USA. This is 100% volunteer based organization. I know that my donation will be used for the right cause.
I am an active volunteer for the Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur (USA) since 2009. Being a 100% volunteer based organization (means no money spent on administration or to raise money), it is highly disciplined organization with high morale values where every volunteer supports multiple activities not because "i have to" or "it is my duty to society" or "i should pay back" or "out of pity" but because "i love to" and "i care". The activities are an expression of love and care to entire spectrum of life starting from the smallest living organism....
I have known this nonprofit organization for more than 4 years, throughout this time I have seen all of their activity to help others, I have seen them helping people within USA as well as outside. They do lots of activity starting from feeding homeless, cloth drive , raising money to help, blood drive , peace , helping teen agers and young adult .....
I love the most is all of this done without any expectation in return, all volunteers are so humble and. Rey hard working.
